Gender Conversations Around the Blogosphere

Some really interesting conversations about gender, theology, blogging, male culture, the church, and the academy around the blogs recently:

• Jennifer shares thoughts and experiences on misogynistic attitudes and casual racism at the recent CSC conference in Nashville.
• Jimmy reflects further on the "Old Boys Club" of traditional church of Christ culture, with regard to both gender and race.
• Melissa starts an extended conversation about possible reasons for a lack of women in the theological blogosphere...

Nothing profound to offer here (I offered a few thoughts on Brian's post and extensive reactions to Jimmy's), except to say that the conversation is invaluable, and that it is good, at the very least, that it's not just straight white men doing the talking.
